The Heights of Abraham – Matlock.

Not fazed by travelling to site by cable car, Lee Grayson’s design team at Idea Showcases took up the exciting and unusual challenge of refurbishing the gift and souvenir shop at The Heights of Abraham, Matlock Bath, Derbyshire.

Chosen for their innovative design, sympathetic with the Tree Tops retail outlet, Idea got to work manufacturing a completely new look in time for the attraction’s seasonal opening.

Showcases, gondola units and cabinets were manufactured from oak with natural bark trim and incorporating low voltage lighting and plenty of both clear and sandblasted glass to give an overall light and airy look, allowing full vision of the stunning views from the shop and café areas.

The layout has allowed better customer flow and allowed merchandise to be displayed to its full advantage, even including special low-level areas for children to access easily. S
